My kitchen is a national disaster area. Cordon off the island. Don your HAZMAT suit. Don't let anyone in a 5-mile radius light a match (flour is explosive). Can we call in the National Guard to deal with this so I can go to bed?

This recipe for yeast donuts made decent treats. However, the dough's a bit mild and it takes some coaxing to rise. Baking them works much better than frying, too. I proofed the yeast and added flour to compensate, though, so ymmv.
